BBandT Utilizes Summit's Senior IT Consulting
(Summit's consultant) was employed as a contractor by
Branch Banking and Trust Co. (BBandT). BBandT is an $80.7 billion financial holding
company. His responsibilities included systems design and administration for
www.BBandT.com, which included our online banking clients. During this time frame, our
site grew from a brochure-ware site to include many applications, the largest being online
banking. With (Summit's) operational planning, our online banking clients were able
to grow astronomically, from 15,000 to 330,000 users. From the infrastructure
perspective, (Summit's consultant) was solely responsible for transitioning our site from a vendor
in-house.

First Hawaiian Bank Benefited by Summit's Senior IT Consultants Services
I'm pleased to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of (Summit's consultant).
(Summit's consultant) was contracted as a consultant by First Hawaiian Bank from May 2002 to
September 2002. His primary responsibility was to identify options and develop plans
for migrating technical production support of the bank's consumer Internet banking
application from an outside service provider to either a new outside service provider or to
the bank's in-house information technology group. In this capacity, (Summit's consultant)
prepared a comprehensive Request-For-Proposals (RFP) for Internet banking
application hosting and support services; provided information to and answered questions from potential RFP respondents;
performed detailed technical evaluations of five complex and lengthy proposals
received from outside service providers in response to the RFP; and
~ produced a competing proposal for in-house support of Internet banking.
Although the five outside proposals came from some of the largest, best-known
telecommunicationsa nd hosting companiesin the U.S., the bankj udged the support
proposal produced by (Summit's consultant) to be superior, and is using his proposal as the
blueprint for its million-dollar-plus project to migrate Internet banking support in-house.
(Summit's consultant) also provided general consulting and advisory services to First Hawaiian
Bank related to production support of the bank's corporate web site, www.fhb.com.
These services included evaluating the technical and economic merits of several outside
service provider proposals for hosting the website. In addition, (Summit's consultant) made
recommendations for improving websites ecurity,w hich resulted in significantly
improved protection of confidential bank customerin formation.
In providing the above services to First Hawaiian Bank, (Summit's consultant) demonstrated an
extensive and detailed knowledge of what it takes to successfully manage production
support for a sound and secure 24x7x365 Internet-based business application.

I am writing to offer my complete endorsement of Summit IT Services. In 1998, Lucent Technologies started a new R and D location in Raleigh. We needed to quickly staff 100 plus engineers and deliver a product to our customer. Summit Software (as they were called then), became our partner in this endeavor.
Summit's knowledge of IT Services and expertise in staffing was crucial in our ability to start up this new location, and ultimately support our customer. Peopleclick Utilizes Summit's Senior IT Consulting and Contingent Workforce Services
[Summit's consultant] contracted with Peopleclick (Services Group) under my direction from February 2003 through February 2004. Peopleclick was transitioning from Visual Basic applications to the latest .NET technologies from Microsoft as an ASP vendor. Lee was engaged to assist with this initial thrust in particular to drive the first modules, the candidate facing web interfaces, to the customer base. [Summit's consultant] assisted with the design, development and deployment fo our initial .NET offerings as part of the Services Group. His responsibilities included the transition from Visual Basic / SQL Server in line code to an objects oriented approach using the .NET technology from Microsoft which included design, development and knowledge transfer. Peopleclick has over 150 customers that require unique and configurable candidate facing web pages which allow applicants to apply for open positions with their company. The Peopleclick customers include 50 of the top 100 companies in the USA which drive the need for functionally rich products with extreme configuration flexibility. If the opportunity arises again, I would re-engage [Summit's consulting services] without hesitation. He is responsible, articulate, ethical and technically current witht he Microsoft development tools. He is somewhat unique as he can translate end-user requirements into operationals software and he fully understands the delicate balance between initial products and market opportunities.
